Snapchat automatically accesses and shares your child's location data. Via SnapMap, contacts can see where everyone is at that moment. However, Snapchat works perfectly well without sharing location data. You can disable location access in the settings.

Apps such as TikTok or Instagram can add location data to posts. They do not share this information with others in the same way that Snapchat does. Nevertheless, it may be wise to check the settings of these apps together and not give them access to location data if it is not necessary.
