Do you have insight into your child(ren)'s screen usage?
Choose the answer that best suits you. There are no right or wrong answers.

Agreements about screen time and screen use are always a good idea. For example, do you have moments when no one in the family is on their phone? Or agreements such as “No phones in bed” or a maximum amount of time for certain apps?

App developers deliberately exploit vulnerabilities in the (adolescent) brain. They use sophisticated tactics to keep people using apps for as long as possible. That is why it can be really difficult, especially for teenagers, to put their phones down. Looking at screen use together can help you make clear agreements about it. It also helps to be honest about your own habits, including the moments when you find it hard not to reach for your phone.
