How many hours per day do young people between the ages of 15 and 21 use their mobile phones on average?

UA Mediahuis survey among young people shows that those aged between 15 and 21 spend an average of around five hours a day on their mobile phones. As with any average, some young people spend far more time than that, while others spend less.

The Guidelines for Healthy Screen Use recommend a maximum of three hours per day for young people aged 12 and older. Of course, what matters most is how that time is spent: there is a difference between aimlessly scrolling, and watching a film with friends.
