Step into the world of cybercrime

Serious games are educational games with a serious twist, suitable for the entire company. Play one of the scenarios together with your colleagues and find out, for example, who is behind a data breach. Your employees will experience the importance of cyber security together. In addition, they’ll gain valuable knowledge they can apply in their own work. Which game will you play with your team?

What does a serious game deliver?

  • A shared experience: great for team building.

  • For some players and companies, playing a serious game about cyber security is a real eye-opener. For the first time, they experience the consequences of things going wrong — and how to prevent them.

  • You can immediately apply the insights in your company.
Team building

Playing a game is a form of team building. Team bonds grow quickly through the shared experience. The competitive element makes the games even more fun.

Scalable

The serious games are suitable for any company. Whether you play with 5 people or 1000, the number of players doesn't matter.

Valuable addition

A serious game is a valuable addition to Arda. For example, use it as a kick-off when introducing Arda in your organisation.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to play a serious game?

Deception takes about 45 minutes. Hendersson takes around 2 hours. This includes feedback and a debrief with the game master.

How many people can play at once?

You can play Deception with as many people as you'd like. From experience, we know that even groups of 500 or more can play the game simultaneously. A large group is divided into teams competing against each other.

Hendersson is best played in a group of about 6 people. One more or less is of course no problem.

Do we have to be physically together to play the game?

No, that's not necessary — though it's certainly possible. All each participant needs is a smartphone or computer/laptop with internet access and preferably a headset.

Our company also has offices/departments abroad. Can they participate too?

Absolutely. Deception is available in both Dutch and English. Hendersson is entirely in English. Both games can be played online — and therefore remotely.

In which languages are the serious games available?

We offer Deception in both a fully Dutch and fully English version. Hendersson is entirely in English. Reigersdael will be available in Dutch and possibly later in English.

Will Hendersson also be available in Dutch?

No, that is not planned. Hendersson is intended for senior management, who generally have no problem working in English. The game master's guidance can of course be provided in Dutch if preferred.

What does a game master do?

All serious games are led by a game master. This is someone who guides the flow of the game, explains or clarifies things, and gives examples.
The game master of Hendersson is a professional specializing in Insider Risks. They provide targeted feedback on the game content and the decisions you make. They ensure that players take insights from the game back into their own organisation.

Do you offer different types of licenses?

No. Every employee, regardless of role or department, follows the same program. The content of Arda is suitable for everyone.

Can we provide our own game masters?

Yes, this is definitely possible for the serious game Deception. With a short training by us, your own employees can be trained for the role of game master.

For the game Hendersson, we advise against it: an insider risk professional is an expert. They can offer tailored advice based on knowledge and experience that you can immediately apply in your own organisation.
